| Ingredients: 2 cans of sliced carrots (3 cups)* water vegetable oil white vinegar lemon juice salt white or black pepper garlic powder turmeric coriander powder cumin paprika cayenne pepper Mustard powder
Directions: **= You can use fresh carrots instead Carrots can be substituted with3 cups of the following: Beets, 3 beans mix, green beans or any other combination of vegetables i.e. cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower, Brock flower, zucchini, okra, all use the same sauce combination. Best tasting after marinating over night. |
To use fresh carrots, use medium size carrots, put in a pan, cover with water and boil until you can stub them with a fork and and they fall back. You can either peel them ahead of time or after they are boiled the skin can be removed easily.
