| Ingredients: 1 Lbs lean ground beef 3 cups of water 1/4 cup vegetable oil 3 eggs at room temp. 1/2 cup bread crumbs (any kind) 1/2 teaspoon Salt (by taste) 1/2 teaspoon black Pepper (by taste) 1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon Onion powder 1/4 teaspoon sugar 1 1/2 teaspoon Tumeric 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1 tablespoon dry chives 1/4 cup chopped cilantro 1/4 cup chopped parsley 1/8 cup Worcestershire sauce 1/3 cup lemon juice
Directions: In short large pan or a deep frying pan pour the
following: Start making the meat into a 1" balls approx. when done, drop the meatballs evenly in the boiling broth and cover. Cook on high approx. 10 minutes until the meat is cooked. If in doubt, cut one of the meatballs to see if cooked on the inside. After you made sure the meat is fully cooked,
remove the meatballs from broth keeping the broth in the pan.
Lower the heat to about half. |
Makes approx. 24 - 1" meatballs
(Continue) Lower the heat to half again and let simmer for another 5 minutes. Remove meatballs into a bowl with a strainer spoon and pour some of the sauce on top. The remainder of the sauce can be used to top any other side dish. Best served with fried potato cubes or zucchini, or any other side dish you chose. Excellent served cold as well for sandwiches.
